Everything You Need To Know About AttaPoll

I don’t know about you, but I’m someone who doesn’t believe anything until I experience it myself. So when I would see “surveys” listed as a way to make money online, I was very sceptical.

I didn’t know anyone who had done it before, and I couldn’t imagine anyone making more than a few pounds a year. In that case, would online surveys be a worthwhile side hustle?

To find out, there was no better way than to complete a few online surveys myself. I dedicated two weeks to completing an hour of online surveys each day on AttaPoll. Here’s everything you need to know.

What is AttaPoll?

AttaPoll is an online survey provider that connects you with a range of organisations willing to pay for your views and opinions. These views and opinions help organisations to improve existing products and services and develop new ones.

By using AttaPoll, you can make extra money in your free time directly from your mobile phone.

How does AttaPoll work?

The sign up process for AttaPoll is quick and easy, and you can start earning as soon as you finish creating your account.

Once you’re all set up, you can select which surveys to complete based on three things: how much you will earn for completing the survey; how long it will take you to complete the survey; and the overall star rating of the survey. All this information is given to you before starting the survey.

How much can I earn per survey?

Each survey usually has an earning potential of 8p-30p. Some surveys may offer you a slightly lower payment on completion, and others significantly higher

How long is each survey?

Most of the surveys I have seen so far range from 1 minute to 26 minutes. In theory, the longer the survey, the higher the pay, although this isn’t always the case.

Star ratings

Each survey is given a star rating out of five. Usually, the lower the rating, the more likely you will be “disqualified” from the survey. This means that the survey will end early and you will not be paid.

Usually, you get disqualified when there are strict candidate requirements that you do not meet. For example, if you are taking a survey about cars, one of the first questions may be “do you own a car?” If you answer “yes,” you may continue to the remaining questions about your car. If you answer “no,” you may be disqualified from that survey.

Although these ratings are very useful in deciding which surveys to avoid, a low star rating doesn’t mean you’ll definitely be disqualified. It may turn out that you meet the survey requirements. I have completed a range of surveys rated below 3 stars without getting disqualified. This is because I just so happened to match the desired profile.

What are AttaPoll's surveys about?

The surveys range in topics, although you won’t know the topic until you start the survey. So far, I’ve answered questions about my spending habits, my political views, and my options on advertisements, along with other topics.

How do I cash out?

Once you successfully complete a survey, your balance is instantly updated with your new earnings. As soon as your total earnings reach £3,  your earnings can be cashed out.

Cashing out is a very easy process. You can choose to have the money sent to your PayPal account (the method I chose) or add the money to a gift card. You can even choose to donate the money to charity if you’re feeling generous.

Does AttaPoll have a referral scheme?

Completing online surveys isn’t the only way you can earn money with AttaPoll. AttaPoll offers a great referral scheme too. For each friend or family member that you invite, you will receive a 20p bonus AND 10% of their earnings from completing AttaPoll’s surveys.

There is no maximum number of friends you can invite or a maximum amount of money you can earn. This means that the earning potential is limitless. For example, if four of your friends join using your referral code and all of them earn 50p a day, by the end of the year they will have earned £182.5 each.

You will receive 10% of their total earnings, which is £18.85 per person. This means you will receive a total of £75.40 by the end of the year. Not bad, huh?

Here’s my referral link, just in case you’d like to support my hustle. By joining from this link, you will receive a 40p bonus to get you started.

My Personal Experience using AttaPoll

I used AttaPoll every day for 14 days. By the end of the two-week period, I had earned £15.56. This averages out at around a pound a day.

Although this arguably isn’t much money, I’m very pleased with my earnings. I only completed surveys during my commute to work or just before bed. This was a great alternative to scrolling aimlessly through Instagram every day. My time spent on surveys also never totaled more than an hour a day.

If I continue at the same rate for another two weeks, I will probably earn just over £36 in total. These earnings could be just over £365 if I continued completing surveys for an entire year.

That is more than enough to pay for a holiday abroad, a few meals at my favourite restaurant, or a shopping haul at Shein.

So will I continue completing online surveys on AttaPoll? For now, the answer is yes!

What I love about AttaPoll

Perhaps I’m weird, but I actually enjoy completing online surveys on AttaPoll. The surveys often encourage me to reflect on my behaviour and attitudes and learn new things about myself.

The fact that AttaPoll is an app also means that I can easily earn money wherever I go, whether I’m at home or away from home. As long as I have my mobile phone and internet connection, I’m good to go.

I love that I don’t need to earn lots of money to cash out. The minimum amount you can withdraw is £3. This means I don’t need to wait for ages before I can enjoy the benefits.

There also seemed to always be surveys available to take. These may not have always been the best paying, but the choice was always there to earn some money.

Cons of using AttaPoll

If you think you can make a good side hustle income from AttaPoll alone, that’s probably not true. AttaPoll’s surveys do not pay very well, which makes earning more than £2 a day quite unrealistic (unless you have lots of active referrals, of course). It may be a good idea to use AttaPoll alongside other survey platforms that pay more.

Also, although you usually get disqualified at the beginning of surveys, some surveys wait until you’re halfway through. These surveys are usually scams. Luckily, this hasn’t happened to me very often, but it has happened. You can try to minimise the chances of this happening to you by only completing surveys rated above 3 stars.

Is AttaPoll for me?

If you want to make some extra money in your spare time, then why not download AttaPoll and find out? Every penny adds up, so you could cash out hundreds each year.
